We have retained our traditional industry focus up to the present day, and we can therefore quite rightly say that we feel at home in this industry. This is confirmed by over 1,200 successful personnel selection projects plus numerous projects in human resource development and appraisal as well as in interim management.

The history of Bernd Heuer & Partner dates back to 1975. That was the year in which founder Bernd Heuer set up his first company, initially with a focus on marketing consulting for the real estate, construction and financial sectors. The company expanded its repertoire to include management consulting, communications advice, executive search and event organization services. Always with the same industry focus.

Important sector and network activities were developed under the auspices of Bernd Heuer. Under his leadership, the first issue of the trade magazine 'Immobilien Manager' (Real Estate Manager) was published, the overview 'Who is Who in the Real Estate Sector' was launched and various collaborations between science and the real estate sector were initiated. Bernd Heuer and Prof. Karl-Werner Schulte laid the foundations for the ebs Real Estate Business School (now IREBS Real Estate Business School) and the university course in Real Estate Economics. With Heuer Dialog, Bernd Heuer set up the conference and event business in the real estate sector. In the late 1990's, Thomas Flohr joined the Bernd Heuer & Partner Human Resources GmbH as managing stockholder within the scope of the planned entrepreneurial succession. One of the first joint projects was their major role in the co-determination and launch of the Immobilienscout 24 real estate website. Furthermore, the International Facility Management Institute (Internationales Institut für Facility Management) and additional sector activities were initiated in co-operation with Heuer Dialog.
